Generous Generations

A network of giving that connects families with opportunities to serve

Happy New Year!  We hope 2012 finds you happy and healthy.

On November 18th we started the holiday season right and had a great time collecting new pajamas for students of Saint Ignatius and Our Mother of Sorrows Elementary Schools.  All who participated did a terrific job of decorating gift bags to package these wonderful gifts to those in need.

We carried the giving spirit forward into 2012 with our 5th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Party on January 15th.  We had a great turnout and received many generous donations of hats, mittens and scarves to benefit the Community Action Agency of Delaware County.  Thanks to all those who attend one or both of these events!

We look to build upon the momentum generated by these events with a volunteer opportunity for some of our older kids.  Join us on March 3rd at the Cradles to Crayons warehouse as we package materials for children in our area that they need to feel safe, warm, ready to learn.

We hope to see you on the 3rd.....RSVP if you can make it!
Check our calendar for more "Generous" events this Spring!  Hope to meet up with you soon!
