Generous Generations

Set the tone for your holiday….by giving generously! We are collecting new pajamas for students at Saint Ignatius and Our Mother of Sorrows Elementary Schools. (Sizes 3T to 10/12)

We encourage even the youngest kids to be part of the giving process.  They can draw a picture or write a note to be included with the pajamas and help decorate gift bags to package these wonderful gifts.  You bring the new pajamas and Generous Generations will bring the rest of the supplies.

Come join us for a birthday party for Martin Luther King, Jr.  The celebration will include storytime, an introduction to MLK's life, activity, craft and birthday cake.

This year we ask those attending to bring a monetary donation as a thank you to the Haverford Township Public Librarcy for their meeting space and to support the ever-important cause of literacy.

Join us as we spend a couple of hours in the Cradles to Crayons warehouse ("The Giving Factory").  At the Giving Factory, you might inspect books, pack clothing, sort through toys, stuff backpacks, or fill orders for local boys and girls. Before you come, please look through your home for new and gently used children's clothing, books, safety equipment or toys to bring with you to donate.

Help assemble breakfast bags for shut-ins in West Philadelphia.  Families will be asked to bring supplies and kids will assemble at event.
